IBM PESSL 2.1

Abstract

PESSL is the parallel version of the ESSL library. It is used in conjunction with the serial version of ESSL. PESSL version 2.1 contains a subset of the Level 2 and Level 3 Parallel BLAS (PBLAS), a subset of the ScaLAPACK dense and banded linear system solvers, and a subset of the ScaLAPACK eigensystem analysis and singular value analysis routines. In addition, PESSL contains parallel Fourier transform and uniform random number generation routines. New with PESSL version 2.1 are Fortran77 and Fortran90 iterative solvers for general sparse matrices. PESSL is callable from programs written in Fortran, C, C++, and HPF.
