		 executables are provided directly.

                 INCLUDED with proteus tar file

                 INCLUDED with proteus tar file

userdoc*.Z       User documentation, consists of several PostScript files.
                 These are large files; if you have trouble printing them
		 it is probably because your printer runs out of memory.
		 I believe most printers can handle them.

reference.bibtex 
                 Bibtex references for the overview paper and the user
                 documentation.

examples	 Some example applications

patches	         Patch files (and instructions) for updating older versions
		 of Proteus.

Sparc		 Directory for beta release of Proteus for sparcs
