CS-Prolog -- Parallel programming in logic with transputers

Authors: Schulze-Kremer, Steffen

Abstract:

This paper describes the parallel features of CS-Prolog, an extension of standard Prolog languages. CS-Prolog employs the local virtual time concept and allows parallel evaluation of several Prolog goals making use of a variable number of transputers on an IBM-AT compatible. Further, written in CS-Prolog a program MolSIM is presented, that can carry out knowledge-based simulation of molecularbiological regulatory processes.
