Towards an adaptable scheduler for real-time system

Abstract:

Issues for designing adaptable real-time scheduler are discussed. A general approach that utilises milestones [1] is given and illustrated using the Least Laxity Algorithm. Some performance results are also given (in the form of upper bound of the overhead).
