The CPA Conference SeriesWoTUG provides a forum for the discussion and promotion of concurrency in computer science, organising an annual conference and specialist workshops. CPA 2013 is the thirteenth conference under the name of Communicating Process Architectures, and the thirty-fifth in this series of WoTUG conferences. The primary theme of the CPA conference series is concurrency — at all levels of granularity, in both software and hardware. The CPA conference series aims to bridge the gap between the mathematical theory of concurrency, using process algebras such as CSP to model and analyse complex concurrent systems, and the practice of parallel software engineering, building efficient, reliable software for embedded, multicore and distributed computing systems. CPA 2012 took place at the University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland, in August 2012. |
