Communicating Process Architectures 2013, the 35th WoTUG conference on concurrent and parallel programming, ran from Sunday August 25th to Wednesday August 28th 2013. The conference was hosted by the School of Computing at Edinburgh Napier University, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Here is the Event Programme.

All the papers and presentations from CPA 2013 are available from the WoTUG paper collection. The CPA 2013 proceedings were published by Open Channel Publishing Ltd., ISBN 978-0-9565409-7-3.

The CPA Conference Series

WoTUG provides a forum for the discussion and promotion of concurrency in computer science, organising an annual conference and specialist workshops. CPA 2013 is the thirteenth conference under the name of Communicating Process Architectures, and the thirty-fifth in this series of WoTUG conferences.

The primary theme of the CPA conference series is concurrency — at all levels of granularity, in both software and hardware. The CPA conference series aims to bridge the gap between the mathematical theory of concurrency, using process algebras such as CSP to model and analyse complex concurrent systems, and the practice of parallel software engineering, building efficient, reliable software for embedded, multicore and distributed computing systems.

CPA 2012 took place at the University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland, in August 2012.
