Paper DetailsConsolidating The Agreement Problem Protocol Verification Environment Authors: Pascoe, James S., Loader, Roger J. Abstract: The Agreement Problem Protocol Verification Environment (APPROVE) has become a mature and robust platform for the automated verification of proposed solutions to agreement problems. APPROVE is based on the Spin model checker and leverages the literate programming tool noweb to provide Promela code supplied with LATEX documentation. The APPROVE discussion opened in Communicating Process Architectures 2001 and described the initial project phases and summarised some preliminary results. This paper presents a follow up, providing a canonical report on the development, application and insight gained from the project. Proceedings: Communicating Process Architectures 2002, James S.
